How to integrate Swikly with Kross Booking?

1. Connect your Swikly account to Kross Booking
First, you must submit a request to KrossBooking’s customer service in order to activate Swikly on KrossBooking. Once this request has been made and confirmed by KrossBooking:
- From Swikly, click on Applications & Integrations, then on KrossBooking
- Three pieces of information need to be entered:
- HotelID
- ClientUserName
- ClientPassword
Your account manager at Swikly will fill up these fields for you.
2. Set up security deposit amounts in Swikly
Select:
- The default Swikly account
- Type of request
- Default security deposit amount
These fields must be filled in for Swikly links to work properly.
These security deposit amounts are only taken into account if no deposit amount has been entered in Kross Booking. The amounts defined in your PMS are given priority.
3. Set up security deposit amounts in Kross Booking
If your security deposit amounts have already been defined, you can proceed to the next step.
t is necessary to configure your security deposit amounts for each property on Kross Booking.
The deposit ammount must be set up as follow:
- On the left handside menu click on "Configuration"
- Click on "Type" then "Open Type" and on the "General" tab, fill up the amount in the "Damage deposit" section

4. Configure the security deposit request email
After defining your security deposit amounts, it’s time to set up the email template that will contain the link directing your client to the security deposit form.
Click on "Configuration", then on "Email template".
A default template is available. Add the Swikly link — available from your Swikly account under the Applications & Integrations tab — to this email template.
You have two options for sending the security deposit request email to your clients:
- Automatically (Included in Kross Booking's Premium plan): rom the "Configuration" menu, go to "Message scheduling". You can set up automatic emails based on the templates you’ve previously created. You can also set conditions for sending based on the booking channel and/or the type of property booked.
- Manually: From the booking, make sure the guest's email address is filled up, then click on "Send email". You can then select which email template you wish to send.
5. How do I know if the security deposit has been secured?
From a booking you can see the status of the deposit in the « Charges & Payments » section:
